RNLI visit KS2!

 

At the end of last term, both classes were visited by Lifeguards who taught them about keeping safe. The children took part in activities focusing on keeping safe when visiting the sea; what their flags mean on beaches, rip currents and what to do if they find themselves struggling in the sea. It was a really lively session with the opportunities to role play and to volunteer to dress up! The children were impressive with their knowledge by the end. Please talk to your child about beach and water safety as we enjoy our environment in the summer months.
