Get Ready Time

Get Ready Time is a daily 15-minute slot timetabled for every class, designed to give children a purposeful movement break between lessons. These sessions may include activities such as the Daily Mile, dance routines, mindfulness exercises or yoga.
 
The aim is to support children’s physical health by encouraging regular movement, while also giving their brains a chance to rest and reset before the next lesson. This short break helps improve focus, attention and readiness to learn in the next lesson.
 
By promoting both physical activity and mental well-being, Get Ready Time contributes to a more balanced and productive school day.
