We are here and ready for Fencing and the giant swing!
What a fun packed day! Fencing was fantastic, very competitive and a way to challenge each other to a duel!
Afterwards we took on the giant swing which needed teamwork to hoist each other up in the air. Unfortunately we ran out of time for Mr Jones or Mrs Clinick to have a go! Meal tonight was delicious and all fuelled up ready for the evening activity.
Most schools on site were up and running around by 6:30am, not Pensilva! Boys were up at 7am and the girls nearer 8am. A hearty breakfast of croissants, toast, cereal, yoghurts, fruit filled us up (Mr Jones taste tested it all and it passed)
Ready for the morning activities!
Rifle shooting was so much fun with all of us hitting the target with careful aim.
Climbing indoors. Some of us pretended to be Spiderman!
This afternoon our team tackled the sensory trail blindfolded. We all made it through all the obstacles!
Orienteering added to the thousands of steps already accumulated today. Using a map of the grounds, clues were found and recorded.
After another fantastic evening meal we had a nail biting match of ultimate frisbee with one team winning 5-4. Our final game was scatter ball.On Wednesday we have archery and Robot wars before we depart for Cornwall at 12:50pm. We should arrive back at school before 3:15pm all being ok with traffic. Final update on activities tomorrow between 11:30-12pm. OJ
Final activities of archery and Robot wars showed great skill and accuracy.
Well done to Pensilva Year 6 for a great PGL residential!
