Children in Need 2022
What an amazing week we had to raise money for Children in Need. We held a special assembly on Monday 14th November to understand the importance of Children in Need and how the money that is raised helps many organisations. On Tuesday 15th November we had a bake sale, the variety of cakes and biscuits was amazing and your donations were truly appreciated. On Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th November the children had the opportunity to guess the name of the teddy. I’m pleased to announce Alfie from Buzzard Class guessed correctly, the winning name was Dash!
The grand finale was on Friday 18th November, we went on our Pensilva Ramble. We dressed in our wellies and waterproofs and enjoyed every moment of our walk. The whole school were amazing, with the older children looking after the younger children. It was a wonderful sight to see. The children really enjoyed exploring our local area. Finally, after returning to school we all enjoyed a well-deserved hot chocolate!
I would like to thank you all for your support and generosity. We even had donations from members of the public after seeing our children behaving so impeccably during our ramble. In total we have raised £246.15 for Children in Need. What an amazing achievement.
Thank you all once again
